
Texas Workers Compensation
Texas state workers’ compensation is a program that provides medical and financial benefits to state employees who are injured or become ill as a result of their work. Here’s some key information:
Coverage:
- All state employees, including those hired, elected, appointed, or working for the Community Supervision and Corrections Department, are automatically covered by the program at no cost.
- The program covers semaglutide on-the-job injuries and occupational diseases arising from workplace exposure.
Benefits:
- Medical treatment: The program covers all necessary medical treatment related to the work-related injury or illness.
- Income replacement: If you’re unable to work due to your injury or illness, you may receive weekly compensation equal to two-thirds of your average weekly wage, up to a maximum amount set by law.
- Other benefits: Depending on the severity of your injury or illness, you may also be eligible for other OWCP benefits, such as vocational rehabilitation, disability benefits, and death benefits for your dependents.
Filing a claim:
If you are injured or become ill on the job, you should immediately report the injury or illness to your supervisor and seek medical weight loss attention.
